Marie is a Masters-prepared RN and certified clinical research practitioner who has been working since 2002 in anal cancer screening research at the University Health Network with men who have sex with men who are living with HIV. In 2016, Marie attended training in high resolution anoscopy (HRA) facilitated by the International Anal Neoplasia Society. Since then, she has been providing HRA in the assessment, surveillance, and treatment of anal pre-cancerous lesions.
