
Rodney Rousseau (he | him)

With 15 years of experience as an advocate, volunteer, and researcher in the HIV sector, Rodney has diverse knowledge and passion for health equity. While currently working in infection and immunity medical affairs, Rodney comes to HQ with broad expertise. In addition to having been an advisor to the Federal Minister of Health, Rodney has an MBA from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Immunology from the University of Toronto, where he worked on a number of projects aimed at improving the health of people living with HIV. Rodney continues to collaborate and advise on a number of ventures aimed at improving the health of the 2SLGTQ+ community, including people living with and at-risk of HIV. As a person living with HIV himself and with a diverse background in science, policy, and advocacy, Rodney brings invaluable leadership experience and perspective to HQ’s board of directors.
