Osmel's career has taken him from Ontario to British Columbia and the Yukon, where he has played a key role in advancing grassroots initiatives and province-wide social programming. His expertise and deep commitment shine through in his role as the Director of Philanthropy, Community & Engagement at HQ Toronto.

With a focus on fundraising, financial stewardship, and policy development, Osmel blends strategic vision with results-driven leadership. A proud Queer Afro-Latino cis man and social justice activist, he works tirelessly to amplify marginalized voices, especially those of QTBIPOC individuals. He also offers anti-oppression and Queer competency training for schools and organizations to promote inclusivity and equity.
