All our volunteer opportunities are housed at HQ Toronto located in suite 820 of 790 Bay Street.

Time commitment varies depending on the type of volunteer activity. This ranges from one day events (special events), short term (less than 3 months) and long term (more than 3 months) commitments. Depending on your availability, you can choose to sign-up for a special event or something on a consistent and on-going basis.

At HQ Toronto we require you to complete and submit an online or in-person application.

Our minimum age for volunteering at HQ Toronto is 18+. requirements will vary with the type of volunteer position.

You are free to get involved in multiple volunteer roles and activities if you have time to commit to each of them

Yes, you will receive a letter of reference for volunteering upon request or as part of the benefit of volunteering with HQ Toronto.

If, for whatever reasons, you are unable to continue volunteering, we recommend you communicate with the operations lead. Please provide us plenty of notice if you decide to leave.

Yes. There are volunteer opportunities such as special events, which are suitable for and can accommodate groups. You can choose to sign-up for the same volunteer activity or event together.

No. You will not be receiving any monetary payment for volunteering, so you do not require a work permit to volunteer
