John Power (he/him) is a social worker, and the Advanced Practice Social Work Manager at HQ. Having completed his MSW at the University of Toronto in 2014, John has worked extensively in community spaces, primarily with GBT2QMSM communities. He provides clinical supervision to a team of social workers, as well as co-facilitating some of the mental health programming at HQ. Using the guiding principles of agency, John hopes to provide evidence-based clinical services that is effective in achieving client goals, while providing opportunity to access multidisciplinary holistic care, grounded in connection with community.
